Sometimes ignorance really is bliss
First five-day work week this month for me :/ here we goooooo
You don’t need religion to have morals. If you can’t determine right from wrong then you lack empathy, not religion.

At least once in your life, when you need to reset, pick a handful of places 4 to 8 hours away in every direction. Put them in a hat, get in the car, pull a name, and drive there. No questions asked.

Let them miss you. Sometimes when you’re always available, they take you for granted because they think you’ll always stay.

To hold our tongues when everyone is gossiping, to smile without hostility at people and institutions, to compensate for the shortage of love in the world with more love in small, private matters; to be more faithful in our work, to show greater patience, to forgo the cheap revenge obtainable from mockery and criticism: all these are things we can do.

WHAT just happened on vampire diaries?!? I’ve been somewhat bored with the story lines this season but the finale just made me the biggest fan again!
Bonnie died…
…to bring Jeremy back
Katherine is human
Elena picks Damon
Klaus lets Tyler return
Stefan has a doppelgänger…
… Silis
Can I just say that Klaus is the best part of the show and Caroline needs to just give in already. “He’s your first love. I intend to be your last.” AH!! So good.
And whyyyy couldn’t Alaric be brought back too?? Loved him and Damon’s bond so so much. Didn’t think I’d say this but I can’t wait for the next season!
Nobody knows what you want except you. And nobody will be as sorry as you if you don’t get it. Wanting some other way to live is proof enough of deserving it. Having it is hard work, but not having it is sheer hell.

To hell with them. Nothing hurts if you don’t let it.

Because when something happens, she’s the person I want to tell. The most basic indicator of love.
